The Princess and the Peas

Lily-Rose May will not eat her peas. Even when her father turns them into the most fabulous smoothies, shakes or cupcakes, Lily always knows that they are there and turns her little nose up at them. Luckily, the doctor knows exactly what to do. He diagnoses a severe case of Princess-itus and sends Lily away to live at the palace. Unfortunately for Lily-Rose May, the perfect food for a princess is… well … that would be telling! A gleeful caper by award-winning author Caryl Hart, ideal for little princes and princesses who hate eating greens!

“A beautifully told cautionary tale that will be welcomed by parents of fussy daughters! Sarah Warburton’s lively pictures are really entertaining.” Parents in Touch

“This light-hearted take on a favourite fairy-story is certain to charm adults and children alike…. A great fun way to help persuade even the fussiest eaters to try something new.” Booktrust
