  6. okay

A little disappointing, as this book was very short. Around half of the book is about Greg going to the disco, which happens in just one night; this book is supposed to be about Greg’s WHOLE YEAR! Also, I didn’t find this book as funny as some of the previous ones, but maybe my expectations were too high. Daisy.

Look inside Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel Its cool.

Love is in the air, but what does that mean for Greg? A Valentine’s Day dance at school has turned the Wimpy Kid’s world upside down! As Greg scrambles to find a date, he’s worried he’ll be left out in the cold on the big night. The only small consolation is that his best friend, Rowley, doesn’t have any prospects either. Greg’s rotten luck seems to be improving when a chance twist gives him a partner for the dance, leaving Rowley the odd man out. But a lot can happen in one night, and in the end, you never know who’s going to be lucky in love… The trials and torments of the Wimpy Kid’s life get an even funnier twist as he discovers the toe-curling horrors of school dances and dating disasters.

“Kinney is right up there with J.K. Rowling as one of the bestselling children’s authors on the planet.” Independent

“The most hotly anticipated children’s book of the year is here.” Big Issue
