Inheritance

Not so very long ago, Eragon – Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider – was nothing more than a poor farm boy. His dragon, Saphira, was only a blue stone in the forest. But now, the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders. Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but also heartbreaking loss. And still the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. And they must defeat him. If they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances. The Rider and his dragon have come farther than anyone dared hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia at last?

Featuring spectacular illustrations by cult fantasy artist John Jude Palencar, this stunning book brings the mighty Inheritance Cycle to a shocking and breathtaking close.

I like books about dragons because even though they’re not real every know what they are, this series just brings them to life and gives them lives filled with imagination and adventure. Inheritance is the finale in a series of brilliant books
