The Victory Dogs

Has your heart healed after War Horse? This Blitz tale will break it all over again. Heroic puppies fighting to save lives in the bombed ruins of London. Do war stories get any better? Bark and Howl are two puppies born on the London Underground. Sheba is an elderly one-eared cat. At the start of the Second World War, the puppies are lost in the dark maze of tunnels under London. With Sheba’s help, they learn how to survive. But when the bombs begin to fall, the puppies are separated; lost in the deep darkness. Can they find each other again – and lead hundreds of trapped Londoners to safety? An instant classic: hot-chocolate sweet, thrilling and warm.

  • I am reading this book on my Nook (it’s a little bit like a Kindle) and so far it’s really good. When I started reading it I couldn’t put the book down. I wanted to know what happened next. I won’t spoil the story for anyone who wants to read it. I recommend this book to anyone who likes dogs and who likes adventure.
