I Can Only Draw Worms

Shortlisted for the 2018 Scholastic Lollies Awards.

Maybe you think picture book artists are super-talented genius people who can draw almost anything. Sadly, that’s not true. Take, for example, Will Mabbit – the poor guy who drew this book. He can’t draw anything. He must be so embarrassed! He can’t draw children. He can’t draw kittens. He can’t draw flowers. The only things he can draw are worms – that is, wobbly pink lines. But don’t laugh. Or, actually, do laugh. These worms might look like wonky drinking straws, but they do heaps of super-silly things that you can’t even imagine…

  • A laugh-out-loud picture book by a rising star
  • Helps children start counting in very funny style
  • Daft fun that reads like Monty Python for kids
  • Bold, brilliant artwork for fans of Nick Sharratt
