Skulduggery Pleasant #5: Mortal Coil

Skulduggery is back, reunited with his original head. But all is not well in the magical world. Our plucky heroine Valkyrie has discovered she might be the sorceress set to destroy the world. But she doesn’t feel she can tell Skulduggery! With Valkyrie on a secret quest to prevent her own evil destiny, Skulduggery and the gang are a warrior short. Which is a shame… Remember those remnants imprisoned in the Midnight Hotel? Well, they’re out – and they believe Valkyrie is their messiah. Thousands of wicked souls are desperate to get to her, killing anyone in their way! Oh, and because they can possess anybody’s body, they could be ANYONE. Now our heroes can trust no one. Not even each other!

This Book is excellent! It is funny, sad, has loads of fighting scenes and makes you want to Torture Derek Landy – then again every book makes you want to kill him but this one especially, until you think about Death Bringer, but Death Bringer comes after it, so it doesn’t count!:) Anyway I have been Rambling an awful lot so back with the review -Clears Throat_ I recommend this book for any age.
