The Invisible Dog

Henry the Great Dane is invisible. Invisible, that is, to everyone except Janie – and old Mrs Garrow who lives in the end cottage. Janie loves Henry, but will she ever have a real dog? Can Mrs Garrow, with her cackling laugh and black cat, help Janie’s dream to come true?

This book by dick king smith is about a little girl called janie who heard about her dog that died when she was two and she asked for another one but her parents said no. Janie, one day, was going through the shed when she found ruberts old collar and lead. She decided to have an invisible dog called Henry. As an age rating for these books I would say 7-10 year olds
