- currently literacy co-ordinator, SENCo and Deputy Head of a primary school in Suffolk;
- advisory teacher for literacy in Cambridgeshire; leading practitioner for SEN in Suffolk;
- MEd and Advanced Diploma from Cambridge; Post-graduate certificate for Specific Literacy Difficulties (Which I always think makes me sound as if I’m dyslexic)’
- written and edited educational publications- all concerned with literacy- for 15 years; contributed to Developing Early Writing
- husband, two ‘children’ (well, they were once. Now they’re 18 and 20), two cats. Live in Cambridgeshire.
- Given workshops about teaching English and literacy in primary schools around the world (India, Middle East, UAE, South America, Maldives- that one was tough- The Hague, Madrid …in the past two years). Not to mention Bolton, London and East Anglia.
